Faculty Profile
Shaibal Mukherjee was born in Kolkata, India in 16th July 1980. He received his B.Tech. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from University of Kalyani, India in 2003. Afterwards he pursued M.Tech. in Solid State Physics at Indian Institute of Technology-Kharagpur, India in 2005. He earned his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Oklahoma, USA in 2009. His research area includes design, fabrication, and characterization of semiconductor heterostructure and multiple quantum well LEDs, lasers, solar cells. He is the author of one book, 3 book chapters, and 22 peer-reviewed journal articles.
