Rajneesh Misra was born and brought up at Gorakhpur. He obtained his Masters from U of Gorakhpur, India in 2001. He moved to IITK, Kanpur, for his Ph.D (2007) in Chemical Sciences. After two successive postdoctoral stays at GATECH, Atlanta, USA from 2007-2008 and U of Kyoto, Japan from 2008- 2009, he joined IIT-Indore, India in 2009 as an Assistant Professor. His research interest lies in the areas of Organic Photonics and Organic Electronics.
