About Me
Dr. Bhargav Vaidya
Head, Partner Group with Max Planck Institute for Astronomy, Heidelberg
I am an Associate Professor at the Disciple of Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Indore.
I am interested to study Astrophysical plasma flows using numerical simulations. In particular, my research interests include study of astrophysical jets from young stars and Active Galactic Nuclei (AGN), accretion disks, interaction of shocks in Astrophysical environments. My main focus has been to bridge the gaps between numerical simulations of Astrophysical plasma flows with their multi-wavelength observational signatures.
I am part of the development team of a widely popular Astrophyics code called PLUTO
