Astronomy, Astrophysics and Space Engineering, IIT Indore is happy to announce
the AICTE sponsored QIP Short Term Course on "Satellite Based Navigation
System" to be held during 23-28 November, 2020. Due to COVID-19 situation,
this time it will be through online mode and there is no registration fee for
faculty participants from AICTE approved colleges and institutes.
This course is
very relevant for the Indian Space program and provides a unique opportunity
for academic researchers and faculty of technical colleges to explore about the
recent developments in this field. Course will be beneficial to faculty and
researchers, particularly in the field of Physics, Mathematics, Statistics,
Aerospace, ECE, CE and CSE/IT, who are aspiring to pursue their career in the
field of Space Engineering and Technology.
The course
will provide concept of satellite based navigation, GPS, Kalman Filter, Indian
own GPS like system, NavIC, Space weather, potential
challenges, future and applications.
The course is
relevant for faculty with a background in Electronics and Communication
Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Aerospace,
Earth Science, Remote sensing and other related areas.
The participants will receive a certificate after
successful completion of the course.
Resource Persons
1. Dr. Ashish
K. Shukla, SAC, ISRO
2. Dr. Abhirup Datta, IIT Indore
