Indian Institute of Technology Indore offers the Summer Internship for the aspirant students during the period May 1, 2020 to July 31, 2020, for pursuing internship under the guidance of a faculty advisor of IIT Indore in different disciplines/schools/centers.
The interns will get an opportunity to interact and work with the IIT Indore faculty advisor and his/her research students. The interns will be allowed to access state of the art facilities at IIT Indore. The summer internship will help the students in achieving their professional goals.

Internship Policy of IIT Indore
(1) Application Process: Potential internship candidates can fill the Application Form by entering their personal details, selecting the faculty advisor and area of internship along with the internship duration and finally paying the fees online.
(2) Internship Fees: The institute will charge a non-refundable internship registration fee of Rs. 5,000/- per month from the intern for the use of basic facilities like library and computer center. If the use of any laboratory is required the laboratory charges (as mentioned in the faculty advisor list) has to be paid by the interns.

(3) Accommodation and Foods: If the intern is willing to stay on the campus, the accommodation and food charges will be as per actuals in addition to the internship fees. IIT Indore has well equipped hostels for the interns.
(4) Issue of Identity Cards: An I-card will be issued to interns as soon as they report to IIT Indore. The interns must carry identity cards with them at all times within the institute during their internship period.
(5) Submission of the report and Issuing of certificate: On completion of the internship, the interns should submit a brief report on the work done by him/her along with the ‘No Dues’ form (Annexure I).
(6) Medical facilities: The interns will be eligible for medical benefits in accordance with the existing rules and regulations but will be limited to consulting the resident doctors of IIT Indore for illnesses or alignments that occur during the internship period at IIT Indore. The interns will have to bear expenses towards purchase of medicines, pathological test, hospital treatment charges, and/or any other charges as applicable with the treatment as per rules. The institute shall not be liable or accountable in any way for any medical claims for any intern.
(7) Students Safety Declaration: No experimental work will start until the Student Safety Declaration form is signed by the intern (Annexure II).
